Learning and Development
We have a particular view about learning at Kintore Way. We believe that everyone learns best when they feel happy, relaxed, safe and secure. We aim to provide a rich learning environment where play is recognised as vital for development. We want children to feel excited about learning. We believe that children, parents and staff all have a role in promoting the ‘four C’s’ - curiosity, confidence, co-operation and creativity.
We greatly value your opinion and welcome comments and suggestions. Parents are always welcome in the centre and staff make themselves available to talk about any aspect of nursery education or any concerns, large or small. If anything worries you, please come and see us straight away. If it is not possible to talk immediately we will make a time to meet with you.
We want your child to feel happy and relaxed so that he or she is in the best position to take advantage of the education we offer.
Kintore Way Children’s Centre is involved in the Parents as Partners in Early Learning project. More information can be found about this, and other services for families at the Southwark Family Information Service
